Script excercise: writing action

Hello.

Writing action is difficult, you need it clean and tight. So, as an excercise, I thought we'd all write the same action scene, look at our pros and cons, and this way we'll work through the best solution to it. Sounds good?

Ok, here are the things happening, in this order:

1. Frank, a large muscled fellow we already know, walks into a pub.
2. The pub is packed with women; ONLY. Frank knows he's the only male, but continues in the pub anyway.
3. He takes a seat at the bar, next to a grotesque woman who eyes him with hate. Other women eye too.
4. He orders a beer with just his hands.
5. The woman behind the bar ignores him.
6. The woman next to Frank throws her beer into his face. Tells him he doesnt belong here.
7. Frank smiles, wants to fight.
8. He picks up a bar stool, beats the grotesque woman down.
9. WOman behind bar screams. Five other women approach Frank.
10. Two of them start scratching his face, arms and neck. The other two hold him, and the last pulls his hair.
11. Frank struggles. Throws the hairpulling one over his shoulder.
12. Kicks the scratching women.
13. Frees himself from the hold, punches the other two women.
14. Pulls out a gun. Aims randomly.
15. Signals to one woman to come.
16. Frank holds the woman hostage.
17. Frank walks further, past the woman.
18. Goes through the back door.
19. Kisses the woman, then makes a run for it.


Allright. Now we all write this in a glorious action scene. Not more than 2 pages. No dialogue. Sounds good?
